Essie Beach Bum Blu is a very shimmery, somewhat metallic icy blue. I used 3 coats. It's quite prone to brushstrokes so I applied it slowly and evenly, finishing with a stroke on the center of the nail. (For metallic/brushstroke-prone polishes, you could also use a piece of a makeup sponge or eyeshadow applicator to sponge on the nail polish to achieve a smooth and refined appearance.) Though the formula was good and easy to control and the polish dried quickly, I didn't like it like I thought I would. It's just not my cup of tea. I found Beach Bum Blu in a 5-piece set at Ross. (Selection and availability varies at Ross stores.)
Thanks for looking! See you on the other side of the day!
