My Picks for Winter

Ho ho ho, here comes my picks for winter! (Sorry, I couldn't resist.) Many of my picks are blue or berry-toned, which makes sense as I always think of silvery blue icicles and cranberry juice this time of year.

For fun, I decided to find out what my top 10 were! Unsurprisingly, many are cool colors and cremes because they now make up the majority of my collection after a major destash. I listed my top 10 in no particular order. And, honestly, I don't think I ever could!

Left to right:

My Picks for Fall

For funsies, I decided to do a "My Picks" mini series. In each, I will choose 10 shades, along with a glitter, that I believe would complement the corresponding season. Please look forward to the ones coming in winter, spring, and summer! :)

I chose a lot of jewel-toned and dusty shades this round. My fall picks will probably have the most variation in shades because my collection predominantly consists of autumnal colors. I'm such a sucker for them!

ILNP Mega (X)

Self-Purchased

ILNP Mega (X)  is a silver with strong linear holo and small holo flakie-glitter, which makes the polish look a bit rough. I used 3 coats for full opacity, though I think you can do one thin coat if you would like to use it as a topper. The formula was wonderful and a breeze to apply. I used top coat on my middle and ring fingers because I accidentally smudged them and needed to smooth the fixer coats out. Top coat will not weaken the holo flame. Instead, it makes Mega (X) look smoother.
