Nail Polish Jewelry - Falling

For "Falling," I used Zoya Caitlin as the base and Black Cat Lacquer Lucky Star. I wanted to try out a gradient because I haven't seen one done in any nail polish jewelry yet. It was a bit difficult, but I did it! I had to pick out and place the stars myself. It's a shame that one star makes the gradient look so off. :( I used a lot of layers of the glitter topper so bubbles formed, but I think it makes the combination look more like a galaxy and ethereal.

I'm glad "Falling" finished off this nail polish jewelry series. It's the one I'm proudest of! :)

Nail Polish Jewelry - Fairytale

For "Fairytale", I used Zoya Caitlin as the base and Urban Outfitters Dust, which is a dupe of Deborah Lippmann Today Was A Fairytale. I did this combination more for the fun of it than anything else. I thought it was pretty.

Nail Polish Jewelry - OPI Every Month is Oktoberfest

For this one, I used OPI Every Month is Oktoberfest. It's amazing polish (that I still haven't worn?!), but you can only see the beautiful red shimmer at extreme angles. I also wanted to show the blue base, but it ended up looking more purple. I guess I should have used a dark blue polish as a base after applying a layer of EMIO. Another pretty failure. :(

Nail Polish Jewelry - Rimmel Night Before

For this one, I used Rimmel Night Before. Unfortunately, the color shift in the shimmer was just as weak as it is on the nail. But at least the amazing reddish shimmer is visible! I call this one another failure. :( I guess Night Before is best on the nails.

Nail Polish Jewelry - Milani Totally Cool

For this one, I used Milani Totally Cool. I'm really happy that the color shifts in the glassfleck translated well in the ring! It was well worth the many layers I had to use. This ring reminds me that I haven't worn this polish yet... I need to rectify this soon!

Nail Polish Jewelry - Foliage

For "Foliage," I know I for sure used Love & Beauty Green (Glitter) and, I think, Turquoise (Glitter). Unfortunately, I can't remember the base I used. Maybe Julep Mystery Shade, a blue-leaning green creme. My other blue-leaning green polishes have shimmer in them, but the base here clearly doesn't. I named this one "Foliage" because it reminded me of when the sunshine gently peeks through the lush leaves in spring.

Nail Polish Jewelry - Completely in Love

For "Completely in Love," I used Nicole by OPI Kim-pletely in Love. (I was very creative with naming this one, huh?) I regret not sealing this one with a layer or two of white polish or one that's more similar to the base color. At certain angles, you can see the silver of the post peeking through. Fortunately, it looks opaque most of the time. I wore China Glaze Re-Fresh Mint on my nails.

Nail Polish Jewelry - Snow Drops

Today, I have another "Nail Polish Jewelry" post for you! I hate to admit it, but much like this blog, this series was on an unannounced hiatus. I don't think I will expand the series - it will end after I've posted all my nail polish rings. :( Midterms and stress have been beating my face lately. *very heavy sighing* I do expect to finish this series though!

If I recall correctly, I used Elevation Polish Jengish Chokusu and OPI Which is Witch? It turned out to be a very pretty combination! :D I gifted this to one of my high school friends when she came over during winter break. I named this "Snow Drops" because... Well, it reminded me of Elsa. (I made this waaay before Frozen came out though.)

Nail Polish Jewelry Wednesday - Be Happy, Tulip

I named this little one "Be Happy, Tulip". I had a hard time coming up with a name because nothing came to me, though I knew I wanted "tulip" in the name. I really like that flower! After looking at it for a while, the hot pink base seemed cheery to me so I gave it this name.

I used Jordana Lunar Lights and OPI Kiss Me On My Tulips. It didn't come out the way I expected. I thought Lunar Lights would come out with a warm-colored shift. In my book, this combination was a failed experiment, but still pretty nonetheless.

What do you guys think? I'd love to know!
