Last week, my childhood best friend came down to my region and we spontaneously decided have a 2-day sleepover. It was the best! I haven't seen her in so long! We decided to do a clay mask facial, paint our nails, and watch a movie the night before she had to leave. We ended up staying up a bit past 3 am... Which was not the best decision because we had gone out all day and were already pooped. (We didn't bother to do any clean up because we just really wanted to watch the movie and sleep...) But the important thing is that we had a lot of fun together! Hopefully, I can see her again soon! :D
I had a hard time deciding what to do on my nails so I looked through my one of my nail art pinterest boards to help me. I was really inspired by simple Japanese and vintage rose nail art styles. I used Revlon Really Rosy on my thumbs, index, and pinky fingers. I used a pale spring green rhinestone from Born Pretty Store on my thumbs and glitter from Milani Gold to make a bow on my index fingers. On my middle and ring fingers, I used Zoya Purity as my base. I used Sinful Colors Island Coral (the peachy pink) and Easy Going (the pale pink) for the roses and Sally Hansen Limestone for the leaves. I made both the roses and leaves with my second smallest dotting tool. Unfortunately, I messed up the "roses" on my right hand so they just look like misshaped flowers. :(
My childhood best friend was pretty excited to do her nails. She ended up doing a skittle mani with a bunch of different polishes. I stupidly didn't write down the names before I cleaned up, but I do remember many of them. I know she used Catrice King of Greens, Julep Angelina, Sinful Colors Love Nails, Zoya Purity, Jindie Nails Purple Universary, and Zoya Yasmeen. For her index fingers, she used stripping tape to make the designs. She used a white rhinestone, also from Born Pretty Store, for her left index. On her thumbs, middle, and pinky fingers, she did subtle gradients, but I'm not sure which colors she used. I think her mani came out wonderfully! :D Spontaneous, but harmonious.
I can't wait to do a nail art session together again! Next time, I want to do her nails myself! :D
Thanks for looking! See you on the other side of the day!
